Terms of Service — CampaignCache

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of campaigncache.com ("CampaignCache", "the Service"), operated by CampaignCache ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Description

CampaignCache is a public email newsletter archive and discovery platform. We collect marketing emails sent by brands, process them to remove personal information and tracking elements, and present them as a browsable, searchable public archive.

The Service allows you to:

Browse and read archived marketing newsletters from various brands
Search the archive by brand name or subject
Create an account to follow brands and receive a personalised feed
Subscribe to a paid plan for additional features

2. User Accounts

Account creation is optional. You may browse the archive without an account. If you create an account:

You must provide accurate information during registration.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
You must not create accounts for automated or bulk access to the Service.
You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account.

Authentication is handled by WorkOS. We do not store passwords.

3. Newsletter Content

The newsletter content displayed on CampaignCache is the intellectual property of the original senders (the brands). CampaignCache operates as an archive and does not claim ownership of the email content.

Newsletter content is displayed for informational and research purposes.
We process emails to remove personal information, tracking pixels, and non-functional elements (such as unsubscribe links).
Images are re-hosted on our servers for privacy and reliability.
If you are a brand owner and wish to have your content removed, please contact us at [email protected].

4. Affiliate Links

Links within archived newsletters may be modified to include affiliate tracking parameters. This means that if you click a link and make a purchase, CampaignCache may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.

All outbound links go through our redirect system (/go/...).
Affiliate parameters may be added at the time of redirect.
We do not alter the destination or content of the linked pages.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content from the Service beyond normal browsing.
Use the Service to send spam, phishing, or other unsolicited communications.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts.
Interfere with the operation of the Service (e.g., DDoS attacks, automated abuse).
Use the Service for any illegal purpose.
Reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit the archived content without permission from the original content owners.

6. Paid Subscriptions

Some features may require a paid subscription. If you subscribe:

Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or billing portal.
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us for refund requests.

7. Intellectual Property

The CampaignCache platform (design, code, branding) is our intellectual property. The newsletter content belongs to the original senders. You may not:

Copy or reproduce our platform design, code, or branding.
Use our trademarks without written permission.
Claim ownership of content that belongs to the original newsletter senders.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that:

The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
The archived content is complete, accurate, or up-to-date.
Any products or services advertised in archived newsletters will be available or as described.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CampaignCache shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

Loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
Any purchases made through affiliate links in archived newsletters.
Any actions taken based on newsletter content.
Service interruptions or data loss.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or AUD $100, whichever is greater.

10. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. When you delete your account:

Your profile information (name, email) is permanently deleted.
Your followed brands and preferences are removed.
Active subscriptions are cancelled.
Archived newsletter content is not affected (it is not tied to user accounts).

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
