Happy Sunday. Like the rest of the internet, I’ve spent every free moment reading a certain celebrity memoir. With just a few pages to go, my weekend has suddenly opened up. So, I’ll…
Buy something in fashion’s new favorite metallic color. I just got comfortable mixing gold and silver, and now there’s a third to master? Thankfully, it’s easier than it sounds.
Purchase a bag (or five) of this beloved Canadian snack, which recently launched in the US. It’s essentially half Wheat Thins, half sour cream and onion chip — and I’ve been obsessed since I had it in Montreal.
Listen to the latest album from this certified cutie pie, described as being “for the (grown) kids of divorced parents who found deep platonic-ish intimacy with their friends.” Check and check.
👀 The latest revenge trend doesn’t require a gym membership or designer dress — just a steady hand and your makeup bag.
🦋 Millennials, prepare yourselves: The glittery beauty product you haven't touched since middle school is making a comeback. Our bathrooms would like a word.
🚲 In a twist we can safely say we never saw coming, “Helmet hair” is trending for spring. But don’t worry, it’s the exact opposite of whatever sweaty situation you’re imagining.
Keep calm and carry on — King Charles and Queen Camilla are about to cross the pond for a state visit that includes DC, Virginia, and New York. While their majesties (read: their staff) definitely don’t need our input, we couldn’t help but come up with a few itinerary suggestions. Their first stop in the nation’s capital? The post office, so they can send back the surprising accessory they’re “not encouraged” to wear to the royal garden party. That’ll be followed by the Smithsonian’s National Zoo to meet the new Princess of DC, a visit to the Smithsonian Castle (no one tell them it’s not an actual castle), and a Segway tour of the monuments (purely for the visuals). As for what to do in NYC? Experience America’s pastime at Citi Field, where the Mets happen to be playing the Nationals (who will they root for??), plus afternoon tea at the Plaza Hotel and front-row seats at Oh, Mary! (after all, Camilla recently said this is the secret to a happy marriage). Last but not least, a stop in Times Square to get lunch from a hot dog stand (again, for the visuals), hit up Gap in hopes of snagging pieces from the Victoria Beckham collab (that trench looks perfect for London), and buy some gifts for the grandkids (apparently, these iconic souvenirs are cool again). Sounds like a bloody good time.
Ted Lasso vibes, messy family drama, and Kate Hudson leading an NBA team? That’s Running Point. In season 1 of Mindy Kaling’s comedy series, reformed party girl turned Los Angeles Waves president Isla Gordon (Hudson) proved the doubters wrong by taking her family’s team all the way to the playoffs. Season 2 picks up right after the disappointing Game 7 loss: Isla walks into her office and finds her brother Cam (Justin Theroux) back from rehab early, making himself awfully comfortable behind her desk — though he insists he doesn’t want his old job back. Now, as Isla fights to keep her spot, she’s also dealing with the team’s flailing financials, a new coach (Ray Romano), and a love triangle with the team’s former coach (Jay Ellis) and her ex-fiancé (Max Greenfield). Oh, and joining the lineup this season? Octavia Spencer, Nicole Richie, and Lisa Rinna as Lisa Rinna. So yeah, it’s a slam dunk.
